This is a comprehensive plan designed and prepared for people with autoimmune conditions who wish to have all of their food prepared by a chef. I cook according to the guidelines of the Autoimmune Paleo diet, which is a diet that is very low in inflammatory ingredients. AIP focuses on fresh organic vegetables and salads, homemade sauces and dressings, wild seafood, grass-finished and pasture raised meats and fats, healthy traditional oils, and certain healthy carbs and fruit. The AIP protocol is not a low carb diet, but it is otherwise fairly restrictive, as it eliminates many common allergenic foods, such as dairy, grains, legumes, seeds, nuts, eggs, and nightshade vegetables, as well as sugar, coffee, and chocolate. AIP is also not intended to be followed long term, as the idea is to eat an elimination diet for a period of time and then reintroduce ingredients slowly to see if you have a reaction to them.
With this package, I will help you at every step along the way, restocking your pantry, designing a menu plan for you, cooking all of your food in your home during the elimination phase of AIP and then helping you slowly reintroduce ingredients. I make myself available to consult with you via text message and phone if you have any questions at any time during the protocol. I am not a nutritionist or a naturopath, therefore I will only work with clients who are undertaking the AIP diet while seeing a naturopath or a doctor, and I am happy to work closely with their instructions.
I followed AIP myself for almost a year in 2016 in combination with homeopathy, probiotic supplements, and meditation, and I found it to be a life-changing health reset! In fact, it is my specialty to make AIP dishes that are yummy and delicious. Please note, the AIP elimination phase diet is 1-3 months long, and because of my work schedule, I take on new long-term AIP clients starting in either September or January. Please be prepared to commit to AIP at least 1 month, but ideally more like 3 months.
